The Cost of Freedom

In this week’s Torah portion, we read the story of Pinchas and how he stood up to unrighteousness and evil in the camp. We are also celebrating Independence day and the miraculous story of the birth of our nation. Let’s take a look at how these two stories are connected, as we celebrate the blessings of our national freedom, and even more so rejoice in the greater freedom found in Messiah Yeshua.
