Preparing A Place

Preparing A Place

Exodus 40:34-38 - 34Then the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and the glory of Adonai filled the Tabernacle. 35Moses was unable to enter into the Tent of Meeting, because the cloud resided there and the glory of Adonai filled the Tabernacle. 36Now whenever the cloud was taken up from over the Tabernacle, Bnei-Yisrael went onward, throughout all their journeys. 37But if the cloud was not taken up, then they did not move out until the day that it was. 38For the cloud of Adonai was on the Tabernacle by day and a fire was there by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel throughout all their journeys.

Exodus 35:1-3 - 1Then Moses assembled all the congregation of Bnei-Yisraeland said to them,  “These are the words which Adonai has commanded you to do. 2Work is to be done for six days, but the seventh day is a holy day for you, a Shabbat of complete rest to Adonai. Whoever does any work then will die. 3Do not kindle a fire in any of your dwellings on Yom Shabbat.”

Exodus 35:2b - Whoever does any work then will die.

John 4:13-14 - 13Yeshua replied to her, “Everyone who drinks from this water will get thirsty again. 14But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never be thirsty. The water that I give him will become a fountain of water within him, springing up to eternal life!”

Willing Hearts

Willing Hearts

Exodus 35:4-29 - 4Moses also said to all the congregation of Bnei-Yisrael, “This is the word which Adonai commanded saying: 5Take from among you an offering for Adonai. Whoever has a willing heart, let him bring Adonai’s offering: gold, silver and bronze; 6blue, purple and scarlet cloth; fine linen and goat hair; 7ram skins dyed red, sealskins and acacia wood; 8oil for the light, spices for the anointing oil and for the sweet incense; 9onyx stones, and setting stones for the ephod and for the breastplate. 10“Let every wise-hearted man among you come and make everything that Adonai has commanded, including 11the Tabernacle, its tent and its covering, its clasps and its boards, its crossbars, its pillars and its bases; 20Then all the congregation of Bnei-Yisrael departed from before Moses. 21Everyone whose heart stirred him and everyone whose spirit was willing came and brought Adonai’s offering for the work of the Tent of Meeting and for all its service as well as for the holy garments. 22So they came, both men and women, everyone whose heart compelled him, and brought nose rings, earrings, signet rings, bracelets, and all kinds of golden jewels —everyone who brought a wave offering of gold to Adonai. 23Everyone who had blue, purple, scarlet, fine linen, goat hair, ram skins dyed red or sealskins brought them. 24Everyone who could make a contribution of silver or bronze brought Adonai’s offering, and every man who had acacia wood of any use for service brought it. 25Also all the women who were wise-hearted spun with their hands, and brought what they had woven—the blue, purple, scarlet and fine linen. 26All the women whose heart stirred them up with wisdom spun the goat hair. 27Also the leaders brought onyx stones and setting stones for the ephod and for the breastplate, 28along with the spice, the oil for the light and for anointing and for the sweet incense. 29Every man and woman whose heart made them willing gave toward all the work that Adonai had commanded to be done by Moses’ hand. So Bnei-Yisrael brought it as a freewill offering to Adonai.

Exodus 35:5 - 5Take from among you an offering for Adonai. Whoever has a willing heart, let him bring Adonai’s offering: gold, silver and bronze;

Luke 6:45 - Out of the good treasure of his heart the good man brings forth good, and out of evil the evil man brings forth evil. For from the overflow of the heart his mouth speaks.

Proverbs 21:2 - All a man’s ways seem right in his own eyes, but Adonai weighs the heart

The Glory Falls

Exodus 40:17,33-38 - 17 So the tabernacle was set up on the first day of the first month in the second year. 33 Then Moses set up the courtyard around the tabernacle and altar and put up the curtain at the entrance to the courtyard. And so Moses finished the work. 34 Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.  35 Moses could not enter the tent of meeting because the cloud had settled on it, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. 36 In all the travels of the Israelites, whenever the cloud lifted from above the tabernacle, they would set out;  37 but if the cloud did not lift, they did not set out—until the day it lifted. 38 So the cloud of the Lord was over the tabernacle by day, and fire was in the cloud by night, in the sight of all the Israelites during all their travels.

Isaiah 9:5-6 - 5For to us a child is born, a son will be given to us, and the government will be upon His shoulder. His Name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God My Father of Eternity, Prince of Peace. 6Of the increase of His government and shalom there will be no end—  on the throne of David and over His kingdom— to establish it and uphold it through justice and righteousness from now until forevermore. The zeal of Adonai-Tzva’ot will accomplish this.

1 Corinthians 3 - 16Don’t you know that you are God’s temple and that the Ruach Elohim dwells among you? 17If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple.
